Taking a vacation used to be an excuse to leave our diet and workout routines at home. Lately, as days get busier and lives get faster, we prefer trips rooted in relaxation, self-improvement and wellbeing. India’s best resorts has it all covered. Everything from stargazing, pottery, cooking, and meditating to centre the mind and more. All of which adds up as the perfect recipe to offer the much needed escape that one seeks.

Our renowned hosts, Harman Singha and Simaran Kaur are seen uncovering the best resorts all over the country that promise an experience of a lifetime.

Their first stop, the Cintacor Island Resort situated on an island in the city of Kanwar, Karnataka, is where they find themselves under the stars, which is seldom to be found in a city. Driving off to their next destination, in the stunningly stellar Ciaz, our hosts arrive at the Evolve Back Kamalapura Palace in the historically magnificent city of Hampi. After a delightful trip back in time, Harman and Simaran make their way to the famous Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, surrounded by Pine trees and a shimmering snow cover.

The drive to Gulmarg is almost like a painting, where every mile mimics a piece of art. Taking away a magical experience from their last stay, we move on to our next abode, the Pench Tree Lodge, situated in the middle of a forest that offers a slow paced escape from the city life. In this episode we also witness the spellbinding sight of a Tigress with her three cubs, giving us a peek at the wildlife in the area.

Our next stop takes us to St Regis, Goa. The highlight of this episode, apart from the spectacular Ciaz driving through the lanes of Goa is the Sabrage ceremony, a unique tradition of St Regis.

Making their way to their next destination, our hosts drive off to the hilly paradise of the western ghats, Shilim, Lonavala. Our hosts can be seen adopting the lifestyle of Dharana and letting their creative juices flow by giving pottery and painting a go, followed by a much awaited, yoga session. After a refreshing stay, it was time to ‘smell the coffee’.

Our next drive in the stunning Ciaz, leads our hosts to the city of coffee plantations, Chikmagalur. The luxurious resort, ‘The Serai’, offers our hosts a one of a kind experience at a coffee spa, and an opportunity to learn the exciting skill of archery. Concluding the trip, the Ciaz drives off to a location which gives luxury its name, The Royal Retreat, Udaipur. The rich history and culture can be witnessed at its finest in every nook and corner of the resort. Our hosts enjoy their final meal at the 200 year old Golden Chariot.
