NEXA At The Green Carpet

There is no greater occasion to celebrate Indian cinema than the NEXA IIFA Awards. IIFA is a star-studded event, a representative of the rich and varied Hindi film culture across India. For its 20th anniversary, the NEXA IIFA Awards 2019 came home to Mumbai, the hub of Indian entertainment. This was the first time ever that the event was staged in the heart of Bollywood.

What made the 2019 edition of the IIFA Awards so special was that it celebrated not just one, but two remarkable journeys. While the Green Carpet celebrated 2 decades of Hindi cinematic excellence, NEXA crossed the 1 Million milestone on its journey to create and inspire, through new exclusive automotive experiences.

Through inspiration, we seek the new and create new experiences. In celebration of the NEXA IIFA Awards 2019, the great actors and musicians of our generation talked about what inspired them to choose their careers and express themselves while entertaining the world.

The artists of Hindi cinema put their hearts and souls in to entertain the nation and the world. In conversation with NEXA, they revealed what they consider to be the boldest move they’ve made. Watch the video below to find out.

On the stage established to honour the artists who had touched other lives through their performances, NEXA had a special honour reserved for one actor. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, presented the XL6 to actor Salman Khan for his outstanding contribution to the Indian film industry. The 20th edition of the NEXA IIFA Awards got an added touch of sophistication with the presence of the XL6 on the stage. The premium MPV by NEXA has been created to inspire an experience that Feels Just Right, and that was exactly what happened at the 20th anniversary of the NEXA IIFA Awards. Once off-stage, celebrities took a shot at the XL6 questions.

The NEXA IIFA Awards 2019 was the culmination of two unforgettable journeys. The road to this journey was spectacular all through, with NEXA creating a million stories while IIFA inspired a million more.
